Welcome to Boston ICE Melt.

In the heart of Burlington, Massachusetts, is a significant location for immigration operations. 1000 District Ave, adjacent to Burlington Mall, serves as the regional headquarters in New England for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a division under the Department of Homeland Security.

This facility functions as a hub for ICE operations, including but not limited to: immigration appointments, managing detainee intake, coordination, and processing administrative tasks. Consequently, it is not unusual to see vehicles involved in detention processes, as well as those belonging to ICE agents or their partners, frequenting the area around 1000 District Avenue.
