As an ICE agent

ICE agent Chayanne Rodriguez was one of the ICE agents responsible for the abduction of a 29-year-old El Salvadorian man at Chelsea District Court on February 9th, 2026. The El Salvadorian man was at court for an OUI charge, and had been released after his arraignment. ICE agent Chayanne Rodriguez helped arrest the man in front of his wife and 4-month-old daughter. According to reporter Irene Rotondo, while interviewing the man’s wife:
“Though a U.S. citizen who said she and her husband were married in 2023, the young mother asked to remain anonymous for fear of retribution by ICE.”
““Eventually, one just came up to me, came up to my husband, and started grabbing him, and they took him. They were touching me … They didn’t show a warrant. They just said they had to take him because he’s an immigrant,” she said.”
“Asked what she was going to do next, the young mother wailed.”
““I don’t know. It’s just me and him and the kids … he works, he provides. I’m scared for what might happen to him. I’m scared he won’t come back,” she cried.”

ICE agent Chayanne Rodriguez, photographed above to the right, also took part in the abduction of Lucas DiBenedetto at Peabody District Court on June 26th, 2026. Lucas DiBenedetto was going to be arraigned for drunk driving the wrong way down Route 1 earlier that week.

The “San Diego State University Veterans” Instagram page has a post dated October 29th, 2018 featuring ICE agent Chayanne Rodriguez, at the time studying for a degree in Criminal Justice and claiming he wanted to “pursue a career as a federal agent.” In his own words: “When I was little, I actually saw federal agents at work and I’ve been inspired ever since.”
In conclusion
It takes a small man to aspire to be the scum at the bottom of the rungs of federal law enforcement. The idea that ICE agent Chayanne Rodriguez, someone who sought a career in law enforcement because he was inspired by the actions of agents he personally witnessed, now spends his days potentially traumatizing children by ripping their families away or even putting the children themselves into cages, is the saddest thing we can think of.
