The thumbnail of this video includes an image depicting a curvaceous, white-passing woman in immodest hijab, and the Nintendo character Mario.
Mario, as well as his brother Luigi, is occasionally used as shorthand to indicate people of Italian descent. According to property records, Mati Ullah’s neighbors in Newington are of Polish and Irish descent. There are too many layers of irony in a Middle Eastern immigration agent, being unable to distinguish what kind of European ethnicity his neighbors are, complaining of his experience of their racism, to describe succinctly.
In conclusion
In the video ICE agent Mati Ullah uploaded of the fight with his neighbors, he claims that he was disparaged as “a terrorist.” We at Boston ICE Melt stand in solidarity with Middle Eastern immigrants and citizens both who are subjected to racial prejudice for their skin color, racial heritage, religion, and otherwise. However, we do not stand with Mati Ullah, and we find a certain poetic justice in an ICE agent being described as a terrorist by his community, even if the gutter racists saying so do not understand the exact way in which they are correct.
