The man to the right is visibly wearing a DHS FLETC sweater. It’s possible that Richard Messier and these men were training outside of the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center in Brunswick GA, which is surrounded by barbed wire similar to that as in the photograph.
ICE agent Richard Messier also sports unique forearm tattoos. These tattoos make him identifiable in photographs and footage of him operating as an immigration agent whenever he wears short sleeves. As they feature the names of underage family members, we will not share them here.

He occasionally posts about immigration issues and politics in Massachusetts, sometimes in distinctly racist ways. On October 13th, 2019, he replied to a post titled “Mohammad Always Wildin” in /r/ImGoingToHellForThis, a since-banned subreddit, to say “Isnt there a long list of stuff not to repost? I’m all for shitting on hajis, but can we be a bit more original?”
ICE agent Richard Messier also posts in various porn subreddits. A survey of 290 comments made by his Reddit account has his activity on porn-related subreddits as 16% of his total activity. This includes posts, with counts of the amount of times ICE agent Richard Messier has posted within, on:

/u/hopelesssofrantic is a sex worker based out of Austin TX. /r/VermontR4R is a since-deactivated “redditor 4 redditor” subreddit meant to facilitate intimate meetups. “Frogbutt” is a specific pose characterized as a style of kneel where the hips also touch the ground or are in contact with the heels, frequently with the waist parallel to the ground or back arched, emphasizing the posterior. Photos of people in the “frogbutt” pose are typically taken from behind in various states of undress, with the subject of the photo sometimes looking over one shoulder toward the camera.
Extant and deleted comments on ICE agent Richard Messier’s account also indicate that he may have attempted to use Reddit as a venue to arrange an extramarital affair. On September 26th, 2023, ICE agent Richard Messier responded to a topic in /r/VermontR4R titled “23 [F4A] #Shelburne. Kinda just looking for a cuddle buddy!” with the comment “37m in Colchester”. He was married at the time. It is unknown if he succeeded in arranging a liaison with the woman, 14 years his junior. Possibly coincidence, but Colchester VT corresponds to an DHS location, specifically a USCIS office.
A small number of ICE agent Richard Messier’s posts on /r/AskReddit involve him complaining about how little his wife sleeps with him. The irony of an immigration enforcement officer using social media to thirst-post and attempt to potentially arrange hook-ups being named “Dick Messier” is not lost upon us.
In conclusion
ICE agent Richard Messier has made noise online about how his wife seems content to not have sex with him. He places the blame squarely on her, citing her “control, lack of desire, the complacency of a mediocre life”. Perhaps Richard Messier should ask himself if a person who works as a U.S. immigration officer is a kind of person that should be deserving of sex, love, intimacy, or respect? Maybe ICE agent Richard Messier should ask himself if he is a piece of trash, one who is repellent on an unspoken, visceral level. Maybe Richard Messier should wonder if he’s earned the loveless life he finds himself in, and if he should look forward to a future where he remains unloved and alone if he continues being the waste of a person he is.
