Identity trace

Tahar Ahmed is identified as an ICE agent in a number of legal documents, including a 2014 discrimination lawsuit he filed against against DHS, his own 2019 divorce, an MPS training roster publicized by the ACLU in 2021, and a habeas motion filed in 2025.

As an ICE agent

ICE agent Tahar Ahmed was the plaintiff in “Ahmed, Tahar v. Johnson, Jeh Charles,” a discrimination lawsuit. As plaintiff, he alleged that he was passed over for a promotion to Deportation Officer because of his racial and religious background. According to the First Circuit of the United States Court of Appeals:

“Appellant Ahmed has worked as an Immigration Enforcement Agent for U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) since 2003, and has been assigned throughout that period to the Criminal Alien Program (“CAP”) in the Boston Field Office. Employees who work in the CAP, one of several units within ICE’s Detention and Removal Operations, investigate the alienage and deportability of individuals detected through the criminal justice system. From the perspective of co-workers and supervisors, Ahmed has been an exemplary employee.”

ICE agent Tahar Ahmed was also identified as an ICE agent in a training roster provided by Massachusetts State Police to the ACLU. The request, made in 2017 and returned 2021, concerned what persons had access to facial recognition software MSP maintained at the Commonwealth Fusion Center. Due to a redaction failure by MSP, Tahar Ahmed’s DHS.gov email address can be retrieved from the roster document.

ICE agent Tahar Ahmed was named as one of the three agents who detained a Brazilian national when he reported to the Burlington ICE Field Office to register for the CART reporting terminal. Specifically, Ahmed was named in an initial emergency motion for stay of removal and a second emergency motion for stay of removal.

In his community

On December 18th, 2015 and September 30th, 2019, ICE agent Tahar Ahmed’s ex-wife filed for divorce against him. The 2015 divorce was voluntarily dismissed. According to documents filed during the 2019 divorce, the two were married on September 14th, 2002 in Quincy MA, that he earned an annual gross income of $144,368 as an ICE agent in 2018, and that he was also working as a part-time real estate agent.

The ex-wife also claimed the following: “The parties’ marriage has been fraught with conflict from the beginning, caused in part by their cultural and religious differences.” “The possibility of divorce has come up many times during their 17-year marriage. Each time Wife raised the issue, Husband told Wife that she would have to move out and “don’t even think about taking the kids,” even though she has always been their primary caretaker. In May, 2019, when the parties last discussed a potential divorce, Husband threatened to change the locks, not only intending to render her homeless but also to isolate her from their children, with whom she is extremely close.”

In opposing ICE agent Tahar Ahmed’s motion that his ex-wife vacate their marital home filed on Christmas Eve 2019, she also claimed that Tahar Ahmed’s motion was made on three claims: that she once opened a cabinet door into his ankle, an injury that he initially ignored; that she once entered the basement, named as his “primary living area,” in which he was sleeping to bring him two boxes of dates; and that, while he was away on a business trip, she once disposed of spoiled food he had brought home. ICE agent Tahar Ahmed’s motion for his wife to vacate their marital home was denied. Both parties later agreed that ICE agent Tahar Ahmed would vacate the marital home by February 1st, 2020.

On September 17th, 2020, ICE agent Tahar Ahmed was found in contempt of court for withholding child support payments in the amount of $8,100.

In another filing dated November 30th, 2020, ICE agent Tahar Ahmed’s ex-wife made the following claim: “Furthermore, it would be detrimental to the children’s well-being and health to award any additional parenting time to Husband. Husband frequently and inappropriately involves the minor children in the parties’ divorce and marital disputes. For instance, hours after the September 17th, 2020 hearing on Husband’s motion and Wife’s Complaint for Contempt, Husband told the parties’ children that he owed Wife money for child support arrears and her attorney’s fees. He then told them that because of their mother, he would have to disconnect their cell phones to afford to pay Wife and further threatened to sell their son’s car. He also told the children that their house was being sold and that they would start living with him during the week in December because Wife couldn’t find housing in Burlington. Such conversations are incredibly damaging and stressful to the children and additional time with their father will only further subject them to his manipulation.” “Husband’s Motion exemplifies Husband’s pattern of strategic and malicious attempts to punish Wife with the goal of leaving her destitute so he can get custody of their children.” “He has abused the judicial system and lied to the Court numerous times to inflict such punishment on Wife and follow through on his threats.”

ICE agent Tahar Ahmed performed in a 2024 music video for Palestinian rapper Saint Levant’s “Facetime,” produced by Nancy Pop. ICE agent Tahar Ahmed is not named in the credits for the video itself.

On May 30th, 2025, ICE agent Tahar Ahmed purchased a home in Nashua NH. His signature on documents for the Middlesex County Registry of Deeds in Massachusetts from 2008 to 2020 has changed a lot. His initials on sets of documents from both Middlesex County and the Hillsborough County Registry of Deeds in New Hampshire has remained roughly the same.

Online

ICE agent Tahar Ahmed maintained a Facebook profile, up until he set it to private or deleted it. On February 4th, 2017, Tahar Ahmed shared a popular Family Guy meme critical of the racism of the Trump regime. On September 24th, 2022, Tahar Ahmed shared a photo from the “Auto Antique Algerie” Facebook group. This group is “dedicated to sharing photos of antique cars throughout Algeria.” In the comments of his share, Tahar Ahmed joked with ICE officer Konstantinos Diamantakos that he liked the truck, and that it would “hold lot !!!!!! Back there.” As Konstantinos Diamantakos had asked whether or not the truck was Tahar Ahmed’s new “G[overnment] ride”, the “lot” Tahar Ahmed was referring to were probably immigrants.

ICE agent Tahar Ahmed also maintains a profile on Project Casting. He tags himself as interested in working as crew, performing at events or as an influencer, recording voiceovers, and acting in commercials, TV, video, and film. Boston ICE Melt notes that Tahar Ahmed’s chosen headshot for this profile is uniquely terrible in color choice and composition, as well as its choice of focal length. If he’d used a longer focal length, it wouldn’t look like his face was ready to attack the viewer as if it were on the end of a tentacle that regularly violates the rights of immigrants.

In conclusion

If ICE agent Tahar Ahmed is so concerned about the racism of his superiors in the Department of Homeland Security and the United States Government under arch-bigot Donald Trump, he should quit in solidarity with the people, the ones concerned in good faith, he might actually have something in common with. Instead, it is plainly apparent that Tahar Ahmed is a traitor to people of his racial and religious background, and is entirely willing to serve a fascist regime if it means continuing to climb the ladder and enrich himself. Moreover, it is simple to suppose that ICE agent Tahar Ahmed exhibits ease when he abuses people he doesn’t know, given how he treats his own immediate family. When the white trash in ICE he surrounds himself with finally put a boot to his neck, we hope that Tahar Ahmed is genuinely taken by surprise.

Boston ICE Melt remains in solidarity with the family of Joan Sebastian Guerrero and the immigrant community in Biddeford ME.
